Dear and Precious Anne,
By the power of your example and great generosity, you sowed countless seeds of courage and loving kindness in the hearts of many, one of which was mine. I have also had the privilege of witnessing, in the lives of others who knew you, these seeds of wisdom and kindness take root, grow and turn into vibrant, flowering examples of once parched potential. May this candle shine its light not only on those who knew and loved you in person, but also on those friends of friends, and then their friends, and on it will go. And most of all, dear Anne, or "my China" as we loved to call each other, this light shines for you. I am sad but so blessed - Thank you and Hamba Kahle - Go in Peace.
